Accessibility Statement

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508.

• Semantic HTML with a single, descriptive H1 and a logical heading order on every page.
• Descriptive alternative text on all content images.
• Explicit width and height on images so layout does not shift as the page loads.
• Touch targets of at least 44×44 pixels on interactive controls.
• Keyboard-operable navigation, forms, and dialogs with visible focus indicators.
• Form fields with associated labels and errors announced to assistive technology.
• Responsive layout down to 320px with no horizontal scrolling and support for text resizing to 200%.
• Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA thresholds for body text and interface elements.

We are candid about the gaps we are still working on:

• The interactive facility map is a visual component. Every facility it plots is also reachable as text through the state and city directories and the facility listings, which are fully accessible.
• Some third-party content — advertisements and embedded external data — is outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
• Stock photography is decorative and carries descriptive rather than informative alternative text.
